In this video I am going over more important steps to making wine from grapes including Punch Down, Malolactic Fermentation, Pressing, oaking, and dealing with the gross lees. To press, I am using a weston fruit press. To improve the yield, I am adding rice hulls to the must while pressing. This adds some porosity to the pomace. The grape varietal is Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile.
